Director of Wildlife Experiences

Melissa Horton has been working with wildlife for over 15 years in education, rehabilitation and breeding programs. She was the Curator of Birds at the Black Hills Reptile Gardens in Rapid City from 1990 until 1997. She has presented educational programs to thousands of children and adults. When she’s not teaching kids about wildlife, Melissa is a Master Falconer and Head Instructor at Jade Forest Kung Fu of Rapid City.
Melissa works with kids at the Children’s Science Centre in Rapid City.
